In celebration of Earth Day, this week at our kindergarten focused on nature protection, environmental awareness, and love for our planet. Our weekly theme was designed to help children discover, through playful and meaningful experiences, how important it is to care for the environment and appreciate the treasures of nature.
Throughout the week, we talked about protecting the Earth, recycling, the wonders of nature, and how we can all live more responsibly in our everyday lives. The children explored various natural materials, minerals, and crystals with great curiosity, and thanks to the families, we were able to create a small shared collection at the kindergarten. It was wonderful to see how enthusiastically the children showed one another the special salts and crystals they had brought from home.
One of the highlights of the week was our Wednesday afternoon gathering at the playground on Turda Street. Thanks to the beautiful weather, many families joined us to celebrate Earth Day together outdoors. Children and parents participated in playful activities connected to nature, cooperation, and environmentally conscious thinking.
Through these shared experiences, we were reminded once again how valuable quality time together can be, and how important it is to nurture children’s love and respect for nature from an early age. The afternoon was filled with smiles, joyful moments, and a warm community spirit as we celebrated the beauty of our planet together.
We would like to thank all the families who joined us during this special week and helped make Earth Day a truly memorable experience!
